Some time off
I guess I can’t say I had a bad weekend, I guess I’m not really looking for any reason to say I did either. We all had an awsome time at Oktoberfest, I ran into some old friends I haven’t seen in years, got to do some much needed catching up, had a few to many pitchers of Marshalls, overall, a solid couple nights at the fest.
Like always though, the consistent and constant reminders of things gone wrong continue to generously follow me around like a shadow it seems. In lue, I decided to take a break from my Sunday routine and gather my thoughts, seeing as the weather was perfect, I rolled out to woodward for some lax time.

I am weighing me down
They say time heals everything, but it seems I’ve been biting at the heals of time since I was able to acknowledge that I could never make you happy. You tell me not to dwell, but my persistence is a disease. A positive attitude is something I’ve always lacked. I get that from my father. I say that, but have never truly put any validity into it.
Human nature is a cruel, cruel thing.
